Course Reserves & Study.net
Emory Libraries provides online access to course readings and other materials through Library Course Reserves.
Who to contact in the Business Library
To set up GBS Course Reserves, email gbsreserves@emory.edu.
What information we need from you
Email a syllabus or course reading list with full citations to gbsreserves@emory.edu to begin the process. We will email all faculty several weeks before the beginning of each semester to notify you of our timeframes for processing. Please respond to this email as soon as possible with your reserves requests. Receipt of complete citations will expedite our ability to process your reserves. We can work with Area Administrators and Teaching Assistants to complete your request.
Turnaround time to process your request
We ask that the request and information be sent as early as possible. Our expected completion time is five - ten business days from receipt of your request, including syllabi and full citations. Requests without this may take longer to complete.
Study.net readings
Course readings may also include a link to Study.net, through which students access (and in many cases, purchase) assigned materials that are published by Harvard, including case studies and Harvard Business Review articles.
Instructors should set up their own Study.net reading packages for students to access or purchase.
Complying with copyright
GBL rules and regulations on course reserves items are in compliance with Emory’s Corporate Council.
Any external content, e.g., journal articles, book chapters, etc. that you want to make available to your students must be cleared for copyright compliance. Our team will confirm that you are in compliance or take any necessary steps to rectify compliance issues. Please email gbsreserves@emory.edu if you have any questions.
