- AccessMedicine: the app gives access to: Quick Medical Dx & Rx, Fitzpatrick's Color Atlas of Clinical Dermatology, a differential diagnosis tool, and diagnostic tests. To install the app, click here.
- DynaMed: Summaries of appraised evidence; click here for installation information.
- ClinicalKey: Provdes access to ClinicalKey's eBooks, journals, drug monographs, guildelines, patient education, multimedia and Procedures Consult. First go to Emory's subscription of ClinicalKey and register for an account, located in the top right corner of the page. Then go to App Store or Google Play and download the app. Login with the profile you created on Emory's subscription of ClinicalKey.
- Harrison's Online: Full text of Harrison's, login via your My AccessMedicine account through AccessMedicine.
- Gideon: Differential Diagnosis generator for infectious diseases.
- Psychiatry Online with DSM: Register for a My POL account from Emory's Psychiatry Online site. Once you have registered, go to psychiatryonline's sign in page and login with your login and password for your My POL account.
- Thieme: Download Emory's licensed Thieme ebooks to your iPad. From the iTunes app store, download the free iPublishCentral Reader. After installing the app, visit Emory's Thieme eBook library and download ebooks.
- uCentral via Unbound Medicine: Access clinical reference books and Medline journals, selected through Emory's subscription. Visit Emory's Unbound Medicine and click on the Mobile link just below the uCentral banner and register for an account. Once you have registered, go to either App Store, or Google Play and download uCentral. Once the uCentral app has been installed, you will be prompted to login with the account you created on Unbound Medicine, and the Emory subscription based app will be installed on your device.
- BrowZine: The BrowZine app allows for easier access to Emory’s online journal subscriptions via the “My Bookshelf.” To use the BrowZine app:
- download the appropriate app: App Store or Google Play
- after installation, select Emory University from the list of schools
- enter your Emory University NetID and password
- select a subject of interest or search for a specific journal and add it to your Bookshelf after creating an account
- JAMA Mobile: View all of Emory's JAMA collection via the Reader.
- AccessEmergencyMedicine, AccessMedicine, AccessSurgery: Login with your NetId and Passord to gain access to eBooks and more.
- e-Anatomy: Interactive atlas of human anatomy. Mobile app: App Store or Google Play
- EBSCOhost: Provides access to CINAHL and other databases. Use these instructions for the installation and authentication process. Once the app is installed, go to the "Settings" and choose the specific databases you wish to search: i.e. CINAHL. If a specific database is not selected, it will search all of the EBSCOhost databases to which Emory subscribes.
- SciVerse ScienceDirect Mobile App: Gives access to all of Emory's subscribed ScienceDirect journals and etextbook series. Search by author, journal, topic, or search the entire ScienceDirect content. Save or email articles and add favorites. See the attached pdf for instructions on how to register and obtain access to SciVerse ScienceDirect.
- Stat!Ref: Access Emory's licensed Stat!Ref ebooks from your mobile device. See the attached pdf for instructions for activating this app. Download app from App Store or Google Play. Then from your mobile device, go to to Emory's Stat!Ref page and establish a login and password for mobile access. Note that you must renew your access every 90 days. See the pdf for more details.
- Thieme: Download Emory's licensed Thieme ebooks to your iPad. From the App Store, download the free iPublishCentral Reader. After installing the app, visit Emory's Thieme eBook library and download the eBooks you wish.
- PubMed for Handhelds: Use the PICO search, askMEDLINE, Consensus Abstracts, Search MEDLINE/PubMed, and more.

- Medscape Mobile: is a combination medical reference and drug database with over 7,000 prescription, over-the–counter, and herbal drugs. There is a robust drug-drug interaction checker, disease section by specialty, a clinical procedure and protocol section with ACLS/BLS, anatomy pictures, tables, lab values and more. CME is provided when using case presentations.
- MediBabble: can help you interact with your non English speaking patients during a history and physical. Current languages include: Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Russian and Haitian Creole. The questions asked are typically yes or no type questions and directional, such as point to the location where you are experiencing pain.
- Monthly Prescribing Reference - eMPR: has over 4,000 drug monographs but drug information is limited for fast look-ups. The drugs are organized by body systems, and some features include: a search tool, some medical equations but no dose calculator, formulary information or drug-drug interaction checker.
- PDR Mobile: the electronic version of the paper book published annually. There is a search function and pill pictures and more. This is freely available to practicing US healthcare professionals.
- Shots Immunization schedule: is a graphical flowchart of the recommended immunization schedule from birth to adulthood from the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. There are catch up plans and details about each vaccine and combinations.
- Fingertip Formulary: has extensive drug formulary information listed by state; extra drug monograph information for licensed providers.
