Interstate 20 Eastbound or Westbound 

1. Take exit 60-B (E) or 60 (W), the Moreland Avenue exit.
2. Turn right on Moreland and follow it approximately 3 miles.
3. Moreland will change to Briarcliff Road once it crosses Ponce de Leon Avenue.
4. Continue straight on Briarcliff approximately 2 miles to North Decatur Road.
5. Turn right and follow North Decatur one mile to the Oxford Road roundabout intersection at Emory Village.
6. Enter campus through the Haygood-Hopkins Memorial Gateway.
7. Take the first right onto Fishburne Drive and continue until you reach the Fishburne Parking Deck on the right side.
8. There is visitor parking on the ground level of the Fishburne deck.
9. From the parking deck you can walk around to the front entrance of the Woodruff Library Building.

Interstate 75 North or South 

1. Take exit 248-C, the Freedom Parkway exit.
2. Cross Boulevard and continue on Freedom Parkway, veering left at split. Continue until Freedom Parkway ends at Ponce de Leon Avenue and turn right.
3. From Ponce, turn left on Briarcliff Road.
4. Go approximately 2 miles to North Decatur Road.
5. Turn right and follow North Decatur Road one mile to the Oxford Road roundabout intersection at Emory Village.
6. Enter campus through the Haygood-Hopkins Memorial Gateway.
7. Take the first right onto Fishburne Drive and continue until you reach the Fishburne Parking Deck on the right side.
8. There is visitor parking on the ground level of the Fishburne deck.
9. From the parking deck you can walk around to the front entrance of the Woodruff Library Building.

Interstate 85 North and Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport 

The airport is located in the southwest section of Atlanta, approximately 25 minutes from the Emory University campus during normal traffic. Visitors driving from the airport should take I-85 North.

1. To Emory from Interstate 85 North, take exit 248-C, the Freedom Parkway exit.
2. Cross Boulevard and continue on Freedom Parkway, veering left at split. Continue until Freedom Parkway ends at Ponce de Leon Avenue and turn right.
3. From Ponce, turn left on Briarcliff Road.
4. Go approximately 2 miles to North Decatur Road.

Interstate 85 South 

1. Take exit 91, the Clairmont Road exit.
2. Turn left (east) on Clairmont and follow it approximately 3 miles to North Decatur Road.
3. Turn right and follow North Decatur approximately one mile to the Oxford Road roundabout intersection at Emory Village.
4. Enter campus through the Haygood-Hopkins Memorial Gateway.
5. Take the first right onto Fishburne Drive and continue until you reach the Fishburne Parking Deck on the right side.
6. There is visitor parking on the ground level of the Fishburne deck.
7. From the parking deck you can walk around to the front entrance of the Woodruff Library Building.

Public Transportation on MARTA 

Atlanta's mass transit system is Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). MARTA operates a coordinated system of bus and train lines for access to all of Atlanta. Breeze tickets are $1 for single-use only and fare is $2.50 for a one-way trip.

The Emory campus is accessible from the Lindbergh MARTA station and the Inman Park station on the #6-Emory bus or from the Arts Center station and the Avondale station on the #36-North Decatur bus.

1. Coming from the airport, take any train northbound to the Lindbergh MARTA station, and take the #6-Emory bus to the Emory campus.
2. Ask the bus driver to let you off in Emory Village.
3. From this stop, walk up the hill into the campus to the main quadrangle on the right.
4. Cross the quadrangle to the far end and you will see the Woodruff Library Building at an angle off to the far right.

Ride-Hailing (Uber, Lyft, etc.) 

When instructing your driver on your destination, be sure to include both Emory University and the building address:

Robert W. Woodruff Library at Emory University, 540 Asbury Circle, Atlanta, GA 30322.

Taxi 

A cab ride from the airport to campus will cost from $30 to $40 and will take approximately 25 minutes with normal traffic. Allow at least an hour's travel time during weekday rush hours, 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
